Prime Minister approves election result of Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee

HNN.VN - On the morning of November 30th, Hue City People’s Committee Office announced that on November 29th, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2688/QD-TTg approving the election result for the position of Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

According to the decision, the Prime Minister approved the election of Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term, to hold the position of Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

The Prime Minister’s decision takes effect from the date of signing. The Minister of Home Affairs, Hue City People’s Council and People’s Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan are responsible for implementing this decision.

Earlier, on November 18th, 2025, the 8th session of Hue City People’s Council for the 2021 - 2026 term elected Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, as Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan was born on April 19th, 1970, in Khanh Hoa Province. Qualifications: Bachelor of Judicial Law, Bachelor of Party and State Building, and Advanced Certificate in Political Theory.

During his career, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan has held many important positions at Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Council, and the Provincial People’s Committee.
