The launching ceremony of the “All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho” campaign; the Olympic Run Day “For Public Health - For National Security”; and the opening of the 34th Traditional cross-country Race 2026 – an event of the 10th City Sports Festival, took place on the morning of March 22nd at Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion.

In celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026), the 51st anniversary of Hue’s Liberation Day, and the successful election of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, many schools across the city have organized vibrant activities, fostering a spirit of enthusiasm in learning and self-improvement among students.

On the morning of March 22, Bach Ma National Park coordinated with Phu Loc People’s Committee to organize the “Conquering Bach Ma Peak 2026 - Joining Hands to Preserve Biodiversity”.

Along with nearly 76,5 million voters nationwide, close to one million voters in Hue City have just joyfully taken part in the Election Day on March 15th, 2026, achieving an outstanding result: 99,99% voter turnout in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term. On March 19th, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung, along with members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, including Head of the Internal Affairs Commission Dang Ngoc Tran, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, and leaders of relevant departments and sectors, held a working session to inspect the construction progress of boarding inter-level schools (primary and lower secondary) in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes.

On the morning of March 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects to build multi-level boarding schools, covering primary and secondary education, in A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, and A Luoi 5 Communes.

On the afternoon of March 18, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to review the city’s economic growth performance, along with growth scenarios for the first quarter and the whole of 2026. The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairmen of the City People’s Committee and leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

On the morning of March 18th, Hue City Election Committee held a conference to announce the vote count results and the list of elected members of the City People’s Council for the 2026 – 2031 term.

Continuing the policy of developing boarding inter-level schools (primary - secondary) in land border communes, Hue City People's Committee is preparing to commence construction of the remaining projects in A Luoi communes.

Thanks to the fertile alluvial soil, reliable water sources, and long-standing farming experience, the people of Huong An Ward are gradually transforming this land into one of the largest green onion cultivation areas in Hue City.
