The event was organized by Hue Central Hospital as part of the 13th Annual Hue Cancer Prevention Scientific Conference, held from August 20-23.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Driving Test Center (20/8/2005 - 20/5/2025), on the morning of August 19th, Hue College organized the second ever “Skilled - Safe Driving Instructor” contest. This event is part of the strategic cooperation program between Hue College and Toyota Hue Joint Stock Company.

On August 16, in Hue City, the Fund for Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control (Ministry of Health) organized a launching ceremony of the campaign to strengthen the implementation of smoke-free environments in restaurants, hotels, and public places.

On August 16, the launch ceremony for the NADO Agricultural Pharmaceutical and Service Trading Cooperative (NADO Cooperative) was held in Doi Hamlet, Khe Tre Commune, Hue City. Attendees included Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van, President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; representatives from the city’s departments, branches and sectors; international organizations such as WWF Vietnam; community forest management boards; and a large number of local residents.

On the afternoon of August 15, Hue Newspaper and Radio - Television, in coordination with the Saigon General Clinic System, organized a scholarship award program for students who have overcome difficulties in the 2025 - 2026 academic year.

On August 15, at the auditorium of Hue Science High school for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City organized a specialized training session titled “AI application in teaching, testing, and evaluating English language courses” for teachers from middle schools and high schools in the area.

On the afternoon of August 13, Hue City People's Committee Office announced that a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, had a series of working sessions in Hobart City, Tasmania, Australia. These sessions were part of the Program to promote Vietnamese localities in Australia in 2025, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

​ On August 10th, the 31st National Youth Informatics Contest 2025 held its closing and award ceremony in Hue City. Attending the event were the Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Secretary of the Central Youth Union and Head of the Contest Organizing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet.

This is an activity organized by Hue City’s Department of Health on the afternoon of August 8, with the participation of more than 30 instructors and officials from 6 wards and communes participating in the “Support for effective and sustainable interventions to prevent drowning in Hue City” project in 2025.

On August 8th, nearly 20 of Vietnam’s leading F&B (food and beverage) brands gathered at the “F&B Hue 2025: The F&B 5.0 Model” event, where they shared practical insights into development trends and applicable solutions for the food and beverage sector. The event was organized by Hue F&B Community and drew a large number of business representatives, shop owners, and others with a keen interest in food and beverage scene in the area.
