This forest simulates the most typical and representative characteristics of the tropical rainforest ecosystem of the Central Coastal provinces and cities. Beyond its significance in conserving and preserving biodiversity and valuable genetic resources of forest plant species that are characteristic and representative of the tropical rainforest ecosystem, the site also opens up strong prospects of becoming a destination for research and learning, as well as a unique highlight serving eco-tourism.

Ngoc Linh ginseng is an endemic medicinal plant species with exceptional medical and economic value. However, the natural distribution area of this ginseng species is currently minimal, while the demand for conservation, development, and sustainable exploitation continues to grow. Research into transplanting Ngoc Linh ginseng to ecologically similar regions, such as Hue, is not only a scientific necessity but also opens opportunities to expand the conservation space and develop this precious medicinal plant.

Following its technical operation phase in August 2025, Vietravel Group organized the Grand Opening of Hué Plaza on the morning of January 11. This event marks the point at which the project is fully completed and officially operational.

On the afternoon of January 5th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party conducted inspections and on-site surveys of several key transport projects in the city, including the proposed site for projects of the bridge crossing Con Hen (Mussel Islet) and its approach roads at both ends, of Nguyen Hoang Road, and of Ring Road 3.

The 2025 Hue Universities and Colleges Table Tennis Tournament officially opened on the evening of January 5 at the Gymnasium of the Faculty of Physical Education, Hue University. The tournament is a traditional sporting event jointly organized by Hue University and Professional Sports Association, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

The year 2026 opens the 2026–2030 period, marked by increasingly fierce competition to attract resources, talent, and visitors, while Hue cannot pursue rapid urbanization or heavy industry.
