Training on gender equality and the advancement of women

More than 130 trainees - civil servants and public employees from agencies and units across Hue City, as well as those responsible for advising on gender equality and the advancement of women - took part in the training course.

In recent times, gender equality and the advancement of women have achieved many positive results. However, gender stereotypes and social barriers still persist to varying degrees. This calls for continued efforts to raise awareness, renew methods, shift behaviors, and strengthen the capacity of officials directly engaged in this work.

In response to this practical need, the training course was organized to equip civil servants and public employees with foundational knowledge and essential skills, particularly the skills to analyze and mainstream gender issues into the performance of their professional duties.
