The Organizing Committee of Hue Information and Communication Technology Challenge (Hue-ICT Challenge) 2025 contest announced that, as of now, nearly 1,500 students across the country have registered to participate in this year's contest.

On the evenings of October 19 and 20, nearly 1,000 spectators gathered at the Song Huong Theater to immerse themselves in a music night themed “Hue Symphony - The Symphony of the Ancient Capital”. On the afternoon of October 19, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a scholarship award ceremony for 200 students. These scholarships were provided by the Mai Dolch Scholarship Fund (the USA).

On the morning of September 29, the project of Hue – Plastic Reduction Urban in the Central region of Vietnam, funded by WWF-Norway (through WWF-Vietnam and received by the People’s Committee of Hue City) in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Hue City organized a ceremony to hand over 2 garbage trucks worth nearly 10 billion VND.

The Job Transaction Month with the theme of “September, the Autumn of Recruitment” in 2024 is being organized by the Provincial Employment Service Center from now until the end of September, to promote the connection between labor supply and demand in the province. The Job Transaction Month attracts nearly 1,000 students and workers to seek information, receive counseling, and apply for jobs in both in-person and online forms.
