The 6th “Hue Jogging - Running for the community” event in 2025 took place on the morning of February 16 at Phu Van Lau (Le Duan Street), attracting nearly 6,000 participants. The event featured two distances, including 5km and 10km.

On the morning of February 16th, Phuc's Fond awarded scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year to students of Hue University and those of the schools in the city.

On the morning of February 10, Hue City People’s Committee held a ceremony to praise and award national excellent students of the 2024 - 2025 academic year at Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted.

On the morning of February 8th (the 11th day of At Ty Lunar New Year, 2025), Trieu Son Dong Village council, in collaboration with Trieu Son Dong neighbourhood group (Huong Vinh Ward, Phu Xuan District), organized the Traditional Boat Racing Festival. The event celebrated Hue’s transition to a centrally-governed municipality as well as the 578th Memorial Day of the Founding Ancestors of Trieu Son Dong Village, while provided a festive atmosphere for locals to enjoy the Lunar New Year.

A great number of tourists and locals flocked into the Huyen Tran Temple Festival held on At Ty new year’s days. This was an event held by the Department of Culture and Sports, opening on the morning of the lunar January 9th (February 6) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, located at the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

As scheduled, on the morning of February 7, thousands of locals and visitors flocked to the communal house area of Lai An village (also known as Sinh village), Duong No Ward (Thuan Hoa District) to watch the wrestling festival. The Sinh village wrestling festival is a traditional festival with a rich martial spirit, and over 400 years old in the Ancient Capital land.

On the morning of February 3 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), Thu Le village wrestling festival, in Sia Town, Quang Dien District, jubilantly opened. This is a traditional beauty of residents in the lagoon area of Quang Dien District every time Tet (the Lunar New Year) comes and the Spring comes.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, many people in Hue continued the tradition of visiting pagodas on the first day of the Lunar New Year to worship Buddha and pray for a peaceful and prosperous year.

On the morning of January 22 (the lunar December 23), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the bamboo pole erection ceremony inside Hue Imperial Citadel, following the ritual under the Nguyen Dynasty.

On the morning of January 14, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Changan Automobile Group officially announced the plan to build the Kim Long Truong An Vietnam passenger car manufacturing plant (5-7 seats).
