This important project, which began in August 2025, is being carried out in 7 provinces and cities and facilities, including Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Hue City, Danang City, Lam Dong, Can Tho, and Clinic No. 2 Le Duc Tho.

The project focuses on several key components, notably strengthening the organizational capacity of the Family Planning Association to deliver high-quality reproductive and sexual health (RSH/SH) information, education, and services. At the same time, it promotes policy advisory, proposals, and implementation to expand comprehensive RSH/SH services to all classes of the population. In particular, the project emphasizes support for vulnerable groups, those who often face barriers to accessing RSH/SH services, such as people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, the poor, residents in remote areas, and LGBTQ+ individuals.

According to the project management board, one of the biggest expectations is to significantly increase the proportion of people accessing high-quality RSH/SH services. At the same time, the project also aims to foster positive changes in the community’s knowledge, behavior, and attitude in the work of accessing the services, especially in relation to gender equality, sexual rights, and social inclusion.

The implementation of Respond Project in Hue City is considered in line with the local strategy to improve the quality of healthcare for all residents. The delegates participating in the conference agreed that to reach an effective project, close coordination between the Family Planning Association, relevant departments and agencies, local authorities, and the population and community health workforce is needed. The project not only contributes to improving the quality of reproductive and sexual health services but also lays the foundation for creating a safer, healthier, and more equitable living environment for everyone.
