Hue enters winter

In “A Day for the Whole Winter”, Xuan An - an author, shares gentle sentiments: “This winter in Hue, I believe, will pass just as all the winters before. Trees and flowers will bloom again to welcome the new spring… I look at the calendar marking the first day of winter, and I see the warm hearth of the past, and my friend’s sparkling eyes, dark, mischievous, clear, and warm, and my heart feels warmed. That is enough for a winter’s day, a whole winter, and the many winters to come in Hue - my homeland. Above me, winter clouds of Hue hang low, so very close…”
