The generation of national literary writers born in the Year of the Snake in Hue left a notable mark with many respected authors. According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, during the nine-day Lunar New Year of the Snake (At Ty)holiday from January 25th to February 2nd (December 26th to the January 5th in the lunar calendar), Hue welcomed an estimated 150,300 visitors, marking a nearly 37% increase compared to the same period during the Year of the Dragon Tet holiday in 2024.

To attract more tourists and diversify the international tourist markets, efforts to promote, seek out and expand markets, and develop flight routes are crucial alongside the development and improvement of tourism products and services.

Besides the historic event of becoming a centrally-governed city, Hue is also a destination for major investors with groundbreaking and finalized mega-projects, contributing to elevating the status of the sixth centrally-governed city in the country.
