Footsteps of voters across every road
HNN.VN - On the morning of March 15, across Hue City, from urban area to suburban and remote areas, streams of people eagerly headed to polling stations to exercise their civic rights and responsibilities in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term. The festival for all people also marked by vivid and heartwarming moments of solidarity and trust of voters.
From early morning, many voters arrived at polling areas in high spirits. The images of elderly people with silver hair leaning on walking sticks, youth union members and young people excitedly exercising their civic rights for the first time, and families going to vote together all contributed to the vibrant and festive atmosphere of the “National Festival”.
In areas far from the city center, voters persevered in traveling long distances to reach polling stations. Some walked from early morning, while others traveled by familiar means of transport of the riverine areas. Every step toward the polling station reflected a sense of responsibility and pride in contributing their voices to important decisions of the country and the locality.
The election day was also made more vibrant by cultural colors. Many Hue women looked graceful in the traditional ao dai as they casted their ballots, while in ethnic minority areas, village elders and leaders participated in the great festival in solemn traditional attire.
