Out of a love for cultural heritage, Vo Tran Minh Thu, a 12th-grade student at Hai Ba Trung High School, has turned her passion for research into modern technological applications to bring heritage closer to the community, especially the younger generation.

On October 26, at Hue Central Hospital (Branch II), Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Vietnam Young Doctors Association and Hue City Department of Health, organized the program “CAREME - Love Yourself, For a Healthier Vietnam: Cardiovascular - Kidney - Metabolic Screening” to provide healthcare for disadvantaged people in the area.

Alongside the exhibition of ancient The Tale of Kieu editions, researchers also shared insights into Nguyen Du’s masterpiece, attracting the attention of literature lovers at the program “A Day of Tale of Kieu in the Ancient Capital”.

Hue Central Hospital has just coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Breast Cancer Network Vietnam, the branch of Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd., and other sponsors to organize the “Hair donation - Spreading love” program for female cancer patients currently undergoing treatment at the Oncology Center - Hue Central Hospital.

Born in 1987, Pa Co man Nguyen Xuan Bay from Ra Looc village - A Soc hamlet, Hong Bac commune (now A Luoi 2 commune) came to traditional music with a pure, instinctive love. “I learned by myself, I felt for myself, and I listened the rhythms that echoed from village festivals, through the hands and breaths of the elders, then practiced on my own,” Bay shared.

The Coast Guard Region 2 Command, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, the Propaganda Department, and the Mass Mobilization Committee of Hue City Party Committee, has launched an online contest titled “I Love My Homeland’s Seas and Islands” for the 2025-2026 academic year. The contest is aimed at Secondary school students from seven coastal communes and wards in Hue City.

Together with the Huong River - Ngu Mountain, the conical hat and the purple ao dai of Hue Women are also a symbolic cultural combo that is deeply connected with the locals in the Ancient Capital. And the poet Bui Giang once “fell in love”: The poetic conical hat / Taking you to Hue City / Sunshine pierces the rim / Revealing the soul of homeland in poetry… (Taking you to the city).

For 20 years devoted to the teaching podium, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Phuong (born in 1983, music teacher at Phan Sao Nam Secondary School) has maintained her dedication as she did when she first graduated.

During 2 days, including September 6 and 7, Hue Youth Union held a program called the Journey of “Hue’s youth with homeland’s sea and islands” in 2025 in Quang Tri Province.

Unable to rely solely on love for the craft or pride in the past, Hue’s craft villages must step beyond traditional pathways toward a new journey: Transforming production thinking, applying technology, embracing green transition, elevating quality, and telling cultural stories in more modern ways.
