“Each journalist chooses their own path to delve deep into the field of words. I’m fortunate to be born and work as a journalist right in the sacred land of Hue Ancient Capital, a place rich in cultural values. Although Hue’s literary heritage is “tranquil and moss-covered”, to me, it is always captivating”.

In addition to his field assignments, Van Thang, a journalist, (from Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper, stationed in Hue City and Quang Tri Province) is also known for his philanthropic work that have helped many people in difficult circumstances.

The 8th Literature and Arts Criticism Writing Workshop, organized by Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, takes place from June 16th to 20th.

On the afternoon of June 18, Song Huong Magazine held a launch event for the book - research work “A Chronicle of Hue Journalism History (1913 - 2020)”. This book was compiled by Song Huong Magazine and Mr. Duong Phuoc Thu (lead editor), a journalist and a researcher.

Phuoc Tich is an ancient village located in Phong Hoa Ward, Phong Dien Town, Hue City. The village was established in 1470. Though small, Phuoc Tich boasts 12 river wharfs, symbolizing the 12 founding families who first settled the land. Along with the founding of the village, migrants from Đàng Ngoài (Outer Realm) who came to this land to make a living also brought with them the traditional craft of pottery.

Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 1, heavy rainfall occurred in Hue City, causing significant damage to people and property. Currently, units and localities in low-lying areas have mobilized maximum resources and machinery to overcome the aftermath of the floods.

At the end of May, Hue hosted the first session of a local artist training course organized by 4ll-in Performance Art Company (4LLIN). Coming to Hue, the young members of 4LLIN brought the project “Developing the performing arts ecosystem in Hue, from June to December 2025.”

Beyond promoting regional cooperation, expanding connections and partnerships with localities across the country enhances the diversity of tourism products, strengthens the link between tours and routes, and improves the ability to attract tourists.

Inspired by the flexible modular system of sculptor Diem Phung Thi, and with deep respect and admiration for her talent and creativity, the artists have explored and created new works of art.

Amid the quiet walls of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts, the exhibition “The image of family in visual arts” was opened in the early days of June. The gallery is like a heartfelt symphony, pulling the feet of art lovers to stop, to listen to the whispers about origins.
