On September 10, Chairman of Phu Xuan Ward People’s Committee Nguyen Viet Bang chaired the official and courtesy meeting with Kyoto Environmental Activities Association (KEAA) - Japan, led by Mr. Tatsuro Niikawa, KEAA’s Chairman.

On September 27-28, 2025, in the area of 23 - 25 Le Loi and Nguyen Dinh Chieu Walking Street by the Ironwood Bridge on the Huong River, Hue City People’s Committee will collaborate with the Embassy of South Korea in Vietnam to organize the “Vietnam - South Korea Cultural Day 2025”.

A kite originating from Hue, which has been preserved for nearly 60 years in a museum in the United States, was discovered by a Vietnamese restoration expert. Through numerous accompanying documents, together with a passion for cultural roots, that expert “told the story” about how the kite was ordered in Hue Ancient Capital, then taken all the way to the U.S., and became an artistic artifact, etc…. It was truly fascinating.
