150 scholarships and support gifts granted to students affected by floods

HNN.VN - On the morning of November 12th, Hue University of Sciences, Hue University held a program to present scholarships and support gifts to students in difficult circumstances who suffered heavy losses during the floods at the end of October and early November.

 Presenting scholarships and flood relief gifts to students in need

Accordingly, Hue University of Sciences granted 150 scholarships, each worth 500.000 VND, along with practical support gifts delivered directly to the affected students.

The funding and gifts were sponsored by Hue City Fellowship Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Thinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment JSC, and CR Sports Co., Ltd.

During the recent flooding, the university actively cooperated with various organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to carry out timely support activities, providing both emotional encouragement and material assistance to severely affected students. The school arranged safe shelters for 300 students and provided over 1,000 free meals during the prolonged rainy days.

On this occasion, Hue University of Sciences also commended 18 students who made significant contributions to the university’s flood prevention and response efforts.
