On the afternoon of August 15, the Office of Hue City People’s Committee announced that on August 14, Deputy Secretary of City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, together with leaders of Dien Bien Province and Tay Ninh Province attended the seminar “Enhancing Dien Bien - Hue - Tay Ninh cooperation with Australian partners”.

The expansion of Hue Brewery Plant, once completed, will become one of the most modern beer production facilities in the country. It will help enhance the company’s competitiveness while serving as a core driver in the local processing industry.

The 2nd Hueba Jogging - 2025 held by the City Business Association, in collaboration with 75GROUP Investment & Development JSC took place on the morning of August 3, attracting the participation of over 4.000 runners. On the afternoon of July 31, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong held a working session with the leaders of Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company regarding the progress of the Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Complex Project in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone, and discussed plans for investment expansion.

On the afternoon of July 30, Hue City Military Command announced that it is coordinating with the Zone 1 Construction Investment Project Management Board to review procedures and clear the site to dismantle military blockhouses located on the Thuong Thanh (the Rampart Upper-surface) relic and inside Hue Imperial Citadel.

The construction of Ring Road 3 will begin in September 2025, marking a major milestone in Hue City’s urban transportation infrastructure development strategy. Far more than a conventional road project, this route is seen as a catalyst for expanding urban space, creating strategic land reserves, attracting investment, and improving quality of life for local residents.

This is considered an important legal basis to implement sub-zone planning projects, urban embellishment, and attracting strategic investment, gradually transforming the economic zone into the southern development hub of Hue City.

On July 12, Hue City Project Management Board for Transport Construction Investment announced that the City People’s Committee approved the investment project for building an overpass across Tam Giang Lagoon.

On the afternoon of June 19, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Member of Hue Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to discuss cooperation on investment promotion and expanding air connectivity, contributing to effectively operate Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport.
