The development of the labor market is not only linked with social welfare but also serves as a pillar for sustainable growth. Hue City is focusing on investing in resources, at the same time expanding employment opportunities, and accompanying businesses and workers in the new phase.

On October 3rd, representatives of the Management Board of the city’s Economic and Industrial Zones reported that the area has attracted many major projects. From now until the end of 2025, six more projects will be invited, with a total investment of about 10 trillion VND.

The Supply - Demand Connection Conference between Hue City and other provinces and cities in 2025 was organized from September 26 to 28 by the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

That was the message shared by Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, at the seminar themed “Green Transition and Strategy to Attract Industrial Investment in Hue City”, co-organized on September 19th by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Packaging Recycling Alliance Vietnam (PRO Vietnam), and Hue City People’s Committee. On September 16th, Hue City Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board reported that it had submitted a proposal to Hue City People’s Committee for approval of the investment policy for building the new Vinh Tu bridge across Tam Giang lagoon, connecting Quang Dien commune with Phong Quang ward. The project’s total investment is estimated at over 1.500 billion VND.

On September 8th, the People’s Committee of Hoa Chau Ward held a working session with Tay Ho Investment and Finance Joint Stock Company on investment cooperation and the development of Ru Cha Ecotourism Site.

On the morning of August 31, Phu Xuan Investment and Service Trading Joint Stock Company coordinated with Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the commercial project at No.42 Phan Chu Trinh St. (The Moonlit Hue Hotel).

On the morning of August 29, Hue Premium Silica Co., Ltd. (HPS) officially held a ceremony to inaugurate the project of Investment for expanding a new production line of its high-quality low-iron sand and quartz powder processing factory.

On the afternoon of August 15, the Office of Hue City People’s Committee announced that on August 14, Deputy Secretary of City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, together with leaders of Dien Bien Province and Tay Ninh Province attended the seminar “Enhancing Dien Bien - Hue - Tay Ninh cooperation with Australian partners”.

The expansion of Hue Brewery Plant, once completed, will become one of the most modern beer production facilities in the country. It will help enhance the company’s competitiveness while serving as a core driver in the local processing industry.
