On July 29 - 30, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University organized the Vietnam - Germany Psychotherapy Conference: Evidence and Application in Vietnam.

On April 27, during the first working session of the 45th International Conference of French-speaking Mayors, taking place from April 27 to 29 in Hue City, the delegates discussed issues related to the theme “Commitment to a More Sustainable World”.

On December 6, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University kicked off the 7th Hue Science Festival with the theme “Cooperation for community health” and the 1st International Biomedicine Conference, along with the inauguration of the Institute of Biomedicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

On the afternoon of November 27, the Provincial Women's Union, in collaboration with the Blue Dragon International (Blue Dragon Children's Organization), organized a conference to exchange experiences and implement support activities for children, adolescents, and women, as well as the prevention and combat against human trafficking, between Thua Thien Hue and Ha Giang provinces.

The International Dermatology Conference, held from November 21 to 23, is jointly organized by the Central Dermatology Hospital, the Department of Health, and the Provincial Dermatology Hospital. The event attracts numerous domestic and international experts with hundreds of presentations being shared. It offers insights into methods, experiences, and technologies in the treatment of skin diseases.

That is the topic of the 2024 LSCAC International Scientific Conference - “Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Context”, which takes place from November 22 to 24 in Hue. This event is held by Hue College in collaboration with Malang National University (Indonesia), Hyderabad University (India), University of Mahasarakham (Thailand), the Institute of Cultural Anthropology (Hanoi), and the Northeast Institute for Cultural and Arts Research (Thailand).

With the theme “Society and culture in Asia in the digital age,” the international scientific conference LSCAC 2024 - Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Contexts - will take place from November 22nd to 24th in Hue city. This marks the first time Hue College has had the honor of co-hosting this event.

On November 5, the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs coordinated with Fédération Handicap International (Humanity & Inclusion) (HI) in Vietnam held a conference to run the project “Enhancing access to information and employment opportunities for the handicapped through appropriate technology and digital applications” in the period of 2024 – 2027.

On the morning of July 25th, the University of Law, Hue University, opens the 4th International Scientific Conference on “Asian Legal History.”

On the afternoon of June 13th, the Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to summarize the results of Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, informing the media of the achievements during the six-day event.
