International conference on interdisciplinary research in linguistics and language education
HNN.VN - On September 27th, the 11th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research in Linguistics and Language Education took place at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University. The event was jointly organized by the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, James Madison University (USA), Guangxi Normal University (China), and Buriram Rajabhat University (Thailand).

The conference brought together more than 350 presenters and many participants from universities, colleges, training institutions, and research institutes in Vietnam and abroad.
With three research reports delivered at the plenary session and around 165 research presentations across 15 parallel sessions, the event served as an academic forum for exchanging scientific information, updating findings, and reporting research results on language studies; as well as exploring the applications of interdisciplinary research in language and language education.
The reports focused on key topics such as: linguistics and applied linguistics; translation and interpreting and translator/interpreter training; research trends in language/foreign language teaching; teaching methods, techniques, and intercultural factors in language/foreign language teaching; professional development and critical thinking in language/foreign language education; evaluation, assessment, and materials development in language/foreign language learning; technology and artificial intelligence in language/foreign language teaching and learning; issues in foreign language teaching and learning under the general education curriculum; and teaching and learning Vietnamese as a foreign language.
The conference was not only a platform for sharing knowledge but also a venue to discover new trends in language and language education, while connecting scholars and experts nationwide and internationally to build and foster new collaborative relationships within the academic community.
