On the morning of October 6, at Quoc hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United States Forest Services held a training session titled “Basis Knowledge on Disaster Prevention and First Aid for Injuries”.

From October 3rd to 5th, the Department of Education and Training organized the provincial 12th Grade excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year at Quoc Hoc-Hue High School for the Gifted.

After undergoing a rigorous evaluation and quality assessment process, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted (Quoc Hoc) has officially joined the LabelFrancÉducation network (France), which includes 600 schools worldwide, several of which are in Vietnam.

On the morning of September 13, Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports, in collaboration with various units and donors, organized an event to give Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to 200 students in difficult circumstances in Hue City.

On the evening of July 13, the award ceremony of the 35th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) took place in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this Olympiad, Ho Duc Trung, a 12th-grade Biology student, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted clinched a silver medal.

At the 15th annual competition for excellent students from specialized high schools in the Coastal and Northern Delta region held in Hai Duong, students from Quoc Hoc – Hue High School for the Gifted won a total of 29 medals and awards. The closing ceremony and award presentation took place on the afternoon of July 17th.

In the third quarter round of the 24th “Road to Mount Olympia” (with Vietnamese title being “Duong len dinh Olympia”), which was broadcasted on the afternoon of July 7, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a representative from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, excellently won the first prize.

On the afternoon of June 26, High School for Gifted Students of the University of Sciences, Hue University held an awarding ceremony for the contest “Designing 12 zodiac animal stamps on the Ao dai in 2024”. The contest aims to respond to the Ao dai Week 2024 activity, and, at the same time, create opportunities for members of the school's stamp club to learn about the traditional 12 zodiac animal stamps.

To nurture students to take exams and win international awards, the Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue City, builds a systematic training roadmap. Behind the medals, a lot of sweat and effort from teachers and students are underlined.

Loving the gentle but profound accent of people in the ancient capital, a group of students from Hue University International School carry out an audiobook project read entirely in Hue accent. “Voice of Ancient Capital” is the gift that these young people want to present to local blind children as well as those all over the country.
