The event was organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Hue City (1975-2025), with the participation of a large number of students and teachers from the school.

The propaganda activity, featuring the specialized exhibition “Ho Chi Minh - The Portrait of a Man” and the contest Ring the Golden Bell with the theme “Students of Hue Sciences High school for Gifted Students with Uncle Ho” carried great educational significance. It provided an opportunity for students from different grades and classes to learn more about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, particularly his teenage time spent living and studying in Hue.

This event contributed to bringing the cultural heritage of President Ho Chi Minh to the younger generation, educating them on national traditions, fostering a sense of national pride, and raising awareness of the responsibility to protect cultural heritage for today’s youth.

According to Ms. Le Thuy Chi, Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, Hue is the place where President Ho Chi Minh lived, studied, and participated in patriotic activities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Those years played a crucial role in shaping and nurturing his determination to go abroad to seek a path to save the country and people. Currently, Hue has preserved nearly 20 historical sites and memorial locations related to him, including 4 national-level special monuments, 5 city-level monuments, and a system of documents, artifacts, and intangible cultural heritage related to President Ho Chi Minh.

“To promote the values of the legacy left by President Ho Chi Minh in Hue, and to implement the program of cooperation between the cultural and education sectors of Hue City, we aim to enhance heritage education in schools. We hope that the attractive content of the exhibition and contest will provide students with interesting experiences and useful knowledge about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, especially his legacy in Hue”, Ms. Chi shared.
