With the support of the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF - Vietnam), the project to develop the value chain of native medicinal plants in the Central Truong Son region, implemented by Green Alliance Company, has brought many positive results for local people and the community.

On July 3, the project “Hue - A Plastic Reduction City in Central Vietnam”, funded by WWF-Norway, in collaboration with Co.op Mart Hue (Saigon Co.op), GO! Hue (Central Retail Vietnam), and AEON Hue (AEON Vietnam) organized the event “No Plastic Bag Month” 2025.

On July 3rd, Hue Help Organization launched a safe swimming course as part of a child drowning prevention project funded by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK).

On the afternoon of June 27, the Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam” under the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF - Vietnam), organized the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the “Making Hue Cleaner” Contest on the Hue-S digital platform in 2025.

On the afternoon of May 8th, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh had an official meeting with Mr. Herve Conan, Director of French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement, or AFD) in Vietnam.

From May 4 to 13, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) is coordinating with the People's Committee of Hue City, Tourism Development Support Fund, Vietnam Airlines, and partners to organize a program introducing Vietnamese tourism, traditional craft villages, and cuisine, and connecting businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in three European countries, including Italy, Switzerland, and France.

On April 15th, Zhi Shan Foundation, in coordination with the Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund, and Thuan Hoa District Department of Education and Training, held the inauguration ceremony of a friendly library at Thuy Van Primary School and presented classroom book cabinets to three schools: Duong No Primary School, Phu Thanh Secondary School, and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School.

Is there anyone now who still sits at the bridge singing lullabies or folk songs about their village? They sing by will just for fun to introduce their village and their pretty bridge full of love. Such a thing merely happens at the Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge in Thuy Thanh District, Huong Thuy Town.

Although it has been officially operational for less than six months, the Provincial Trade and Investment Promotion, and Business Support Center (now under Hue centrally-governed municipality), with predetermined functions and missions, has made significant contributions to supporting businesses in trade promotion and resolving various challenges and obstacles.

On the afternoon of January 17, at Duyet Thi Duong Theater - Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the opening ceremony of Hue tuong mask exhibition space. This program was implemented with the sponsorship of Vingroup Innovation Fund (VinIF).
