Amid the bustling rhythm of urban life, I love taking a long pause to enjoy the slow and steady pedaling of Hue’s cyclo drivers. There, although I deeply sympathize with the hard work of these men, who are the breadwinners of their families, in turn, it also reminds me of the strangely peaceful feeling of Hue.

On the morning of December 15th, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City organized activities to celebrate Christmas 2024, toward the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th Anniversary of the All-People's National Defense Festival.

As the Tet holiday approaches, many Vietnamese people living far from their homeland still feel the eager atmosphere. Some feel excited when returning to their homeland, while many families enjoy celebrating Vietnamese Tet in foreign lands.

Grown for its beauty and fruits, persimmon is a high-rise tree in Hue gardens. Despite not having high economic value, ancient persimmon trees carry spiritual and cultural value and are closely linked to the lives of many traditional families in the Huong Ngu region.
