On the morning of June 25, Hue City Labor Federation held a conference to review the campaign “Building Close-knit Families, Prosperous, Progressive, Happy, and Civilized Workers in Hue City” and commend outstanding families in the period of 2021 - 2025.

Phuoc Tich is an ancient village located in Phong Hoa Ward, Phong Dien Town, Hue City. The village was established in 1470. Though small, Phuoc Tich boasts 12 river wharfs, symbolizing the 12 founding families who first settled the land. Along with the founding of the village, migrants from Đàng Ngoài (Outer Realm) who came to this land to make a living also brought with them the traditional craft of pottery.

After the country was reunified, the Pioneering Youth force transitioned to a new mission: overcoming the consequences of war and contributing to economic development. In response to the revolutionary call at that time, Binh Tri Thien Province and Hue City established two Pioneering Youth regiments tasked with surveying, building roads, clearing land, and constructing homes to welcome thousands of families from Hue to settle in the southern regions and establish new Hue communities far from home. Among the many resettlement programs, one new homeland for Hue people was founded nearly half a century ago: the Huong Lam New Economic Zone (NEZ), now part of Da Lay Commune, Da Huai District, in the southern part of Lam Dong Province…

However, the Tet market remains an irresistibly charming space for those who cherish nostalgia - individuals who fondly recall the old Tets, deeply connected to their mothers, grandmothers, and the years of hardship.

Amid the bustling rhythm of urban life, I love taking a long pause to enjoy the slow and steady pedaling of Hue’s cyclo drivers. There, although I deeply sympathize with the hard work of these men, who are the breadwinners of their families, in turn, it also reminds me of the strangely peaceful feeling of Hue.

Grown for its beauty and fruits, persimmon is a high-rise tree in Hue gardens. Despite not having high economic value, ancient persimmon trees carry spiritual and cultural value and are closely linked to the lives of many traditional families in the Huong Ngu region.
