In Hue, the cultural value of Vietnamese tea will be honored and connected through cultural exchanges among artisans, tea masters, and brands from Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam at Hue - International Tea Festival 2025, taking place from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025.

On October 18, Hue Central Hospital organized a specialized workshop titled “Off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgery”. The event aimed to exchange, update professional knowledge, and share practical experience regarding the technique of coronary artery bypass surgery on a beating heart - a modern method that helps reduce complications and shorten the recovery time for patients.

As part of the 5th Regional Conference of Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) - Asia-Pacific Region, the discussion session on the afternoon of October 15th became one of the most notable highlights of the event. On the afternoon of August 30th, in Hue City, Vietnam Haiku Poetry Club - Ancient Capital Hue branch held a gathering featuring poetry and music to mark the 80th National Day anniversary.

Building on digital citizens is a key factor that determines the success of the digital transformation revolution. In response to this urgent requirement, the “Digital Literacy for All” movement is seen as a practical and strategic initiative to popularize digital skills among the population. On July 31st, a delegation from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, including 16 high school students along with representatives from Okinawa Prefectural Government and Japan Overseas Cooperative Association (JOCA) Okinawa Office, arrived in Hue City to participate in a cultural exchange and homestay program as part of the “OIC Youth’s 2025” program. This event is one of the key activities under the Japan-Hue 2025 Homestay and Cultural Exchange Program.

On June 29, a cultural exchange activity between Hue City and the cultural tourism delegation of Nanning (Nam Ninh) City (China) took place at Duyen Thi Duong Theater. This event marked the beginning of China - ASEAN cultural exchange program 2025 in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of May 8, in celebration of the 39th World Thalassemia Day (May 8, 1986 - May 8, 2025), the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Blue Blouse Club, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and benefactors organized an exchange program and presented gifts to Thalassemia patients receiving treatment at the hospital.

The academic exchange activities between the Faculty of Environment, University of Sciences, Hue University, and international students have created many meaningful experiences, spreading the spirit of sustainable development and cultural connection.
