In-depth training cooperation between Hue Central Hospital and Japanese partner
HNN.VN - On June 12th, at Hue Central Hospital, a delegation from Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital attended a working session and professional exchange as part of the long-term physician training cooperation program between the two institutions, which has been maintained for nearly a decade.

Attending the program on behalf of Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital were Dr. Tanaka Yoshihide, Director of Medical Services and Head of the Neurology and Neurosurgery Center, along with resident physicians and nurses participating in clinical training at Hue Central Hospital. Representing the host institution were Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of Hue Central Hospital, and leaders of relevant departments and units.
The training cooperation program between the two hospitals was signed and launched in 2017. Over the past decade, Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital has supported advanced clinical training for physicians from Hue Central Hospital in its areas of expertise, particularly Neurosurgery and Neurovascular Intervention. At the same time, Hue Central Hospital has regularly welcomed Japanese physicians and nurses for clinical practice, research, and professional exchanges across various specialties.
According to hospital statistics, to date, nine physicians from Hue Central Hospital have been sent to Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital for training, including six doctors from the Department of Neurosurgery and three specialists in neurovascular intervention. These are highly specialized fields that require advanced expertise and continuous updates on modern techniques to meet the growing treatment needs of patients. The cooperation program has not only enhanced the professional competence of physicians but has also contributed to standardizing clinical training in accordance with international standards.
During their stay in Hue, the delegation of specialists and healthcare personnel from Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital participated in a range of professional activities, including patient examinations, case consultations, and clinical practice at the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Department, the Pediatric Surgery and Abdominal Emergency Department, Operating Room A, the Stroke Intensive Care Unit, and the Department of Neurosurgery.
