On the afternoon of March 25, Hue City General Library held an opening ceremony of the exhibition on displaying documents on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Hue City (March 26, 1975 – March 26, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 – April 2025).

That is one of the contents in the plan to implement the “Establishment and Development of Hue Bookcase” project for 2025, which has just been issued by Hue City People’s Committee.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2025) and create the joyful and exciting atmosphere to honor the glorious Party and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Thuan Hoa District will organize various activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring. These activities aim to meet the recreational needs of locals and tourists.

On the afternoon of December 13, the Museum of Nature of the Central Coastal Region held a scientific conference on 15 years of establishment and on the orientation for the development of the Museum in the period of 2025 - 2030.

Nearly 70 years of establishment and development, particularly the 30 years since its re-establishment, have elevated Hue University (HU) to the stature of a national education institution.

On November 30, the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 175/2024/QH15 regarding the establishment of Hue City as a centrally governed municipality (NQ175). Simultaneously, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued Resolution 1314/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district- and commune-level administrative units in Hue City for the 2023–2025 period (NQ 1314). These resolutions will take effect on January 1, 2025.

In 2024, there has been six individuals who donated artifacts, and nine establishments and individuals involved in producing traditional Hue handicrafts supported the Thua Thien Hue Museum of History in its exhibition and display efforts to promote Hue’s cultural heritage to the public and visitors.

On November 13, the Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) organized a training course on how to create smoke-free environments in restaurants, hotels, and resorts.

That was the theme of a scientific conference held by the University of Pharmacy and Medicine, Hue University on the occasion of 25th anniversary of the establishment of Odonto-Stomatology Department on November 9.

Shopping has become one of the drives for the trips of many tourists. Together with traditional markets in Hue, the establishment of Aeon Mall Hue will promote the growth of shopping tourism and encourage travel businesses to incorporate shopping into their tours for visitors.
