On the morning of April 29, information from the Department of Tourism indicated that, through statistics on room bookings at accommodation establishments and a synthesis of related data, Hue tourism is projected to welcome approximately over 300,000 visitors during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.

After the country was reunified, the Pioneering Youth force transitioned to a new mission: overcoming the consequences of war and contributing to economic development. In response to the revolutionary call at that time, Binh Tri Thien Province and Hue City established two Pioneering Youth regiments tasked with surveying, building roads, clearing land, and constructing homes to welcome thousands of families from Hue to settle in the southern regions and establish new Hue communities far from home. On the morning of April 18, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Department of Orthopedic and Thoracic Surgery.

On April 15th, Zhi Shan Foundation, in coordination with the Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund, and Thuan Hoa District Department of Education and Training, held the inauguration ceremony of a friendly library at Thuy Van Primary School and presented classroom book cabinets to three schools: Duong No Primary School, Phu Thanh Secondary School, and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School.

The trade connection program between enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in Hue City with Central Retail Vietnam Group was organized by the City's Center for Trade Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support on the afternoon of March 31.

On the afternoon of March 25, Hue City General Library held an opening ceremony of the exhibition on displaying documents on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Hue City (March 26, 1975 – March 26, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 – April 2025).

That is one of the contents in the plan to implement the “Establishment and Development of Hue Bookcase” project for 2025, which has just been issued by Hue City People’s Committee.

2025 marks the first year of implementing the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 175 on establishing Hue as a centrally-governed municipality, along with the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution No. 1314 on restructuring district- and commune-level administrative units in the newly established Hue City.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2025) and create the joyful and exciting atmosphere to honor the glorious Party and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Thuan Hoa District will organize various activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring. These activities aim to meet the recreational needs of locals and tourists.
