On the evening of May 30, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held the final round of the 7th Science Innovation and Agricultural Startup Idea Competition 2026, drawing the participation of lecturers, students, scientists, and business representatives.

On the morning of May 23rd, the University of Law, Hue University, in coordination with Da Nang Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and Tilleke & Gibbins, held the opening ceremony for the 6th “Student Innovation and Intellectual Property” Competition 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

The National 3x3 Basketball Championship for Strong Teams and U20 2026 officially opened on the evening of May 10 at Aeon Mall Hue Shopping Center.

The crossbow shooting competition of the 10th City Sports Festival in 2026 kicked off on the morning of March 19 at the City Sports Training Center. This is the 13th out of 18 sports featured in this year’s Festival.

On March 7, the Department of Education and Training held the final round of the English debate competition for secondary school students in the 2025-2026 academic year.

On the afternoon of January 25, Hoang Anh Minh, a student of class 11/4 at Nguyen Hue High School, participated in the first quarter competition of the “Road to Mount Olympia” program.

The Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue City, the Thieu Nien Tien Phong & Nhi Dong Newspaper in Hue, and Hue City Post Office, launched the 55th UPU International Letter-Writing Competition in 2026 for students aged 9 to 15.

The Karate and Taekwondo competitions of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025-2026) officially opened on the morning of October 24th at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium of the Faculty of Physical Education - Hue University. These are the third and fourth events (following boat racing and pétanque) among a total of 18 sports featured in the festival.

On September 12, in Hue City, the Department of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology held a training conference on international integration and cooperation in the field of Science and Technology for officials from departments, agencies, businesses, and reporters. At the same time, they also launched an Online Competition in exploring Digital Transformation in Hue City in 2025.

That is the theme of the “Creative Students and Intellectual Property Rights” competition organized by the University of Law, Hue University, which officially opened on the morning of May 24th.
