Opening of the crossbow shooting competition of the City Sports Festival
HNN.VN - The crossbow shooting competition of the 10th City Sports Festival in 2026 kicked off on the morning of March 19 at the City Sports Training Center. This is the 13th out of 18 sports featured in this year’s Festival.

This year's competition brings together nearly 50 athletes from 5 units, localities, including: Phu Xuan Ward, A Luoi 2 Commune, Khe Tre Commune, Nam Dong Commune, and Long Quang Commune.
At the competition, athletes competed for 8 sets of medals across the following categories: men’s individual standing and kneeling shooting; women’s individual standing and kneeling shooting; men’s team standing and kneeling shooting; and women’s team standing and kneeling shooting.
Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan, Director of the City Sports Center, stated that the competition aims to enrich the cultural and spiritual life of the people; preserve, promote, and pass on traditional cultural and sporting values of local ethnic minority communities; and select outstanding athletes to participate in the upcoming National Sports Games.
The competition concluded on March 20.
