Following the directive from the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, on November 10, Hue City Civil Defense Steering Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of wards and communes in the city to conduct surveys to mark the highest flood traces during the flooding event, from October 25 to November 3, within the premises of offices, schools, low-lying routes, public works, and flood warning towers in the local areas.

On the morning of November 9, communes and wards across Hue City simultaneously launched environmental cleanup campaigns in connection with the “Green Sunday” movement, aiming to restore urban landscapes and prevent disease outbreaks following prolonged flooding. City leaders visited several locations to inspect, encourage, and present gifts to participating teams.

Immediately following the call of the City People's Committee, on the morning of November 9, a large number of residents, cadres, civil servants, public employees, various associations, unions, armed forces, Youth Union members, and Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company, etc., simultaneously launched an environmental cleanup campaign across all communes and wards in the city.

Due to the impact of storms and high tides, Phu Dien Cham Tower historical site in Phu Vinh Commune has been submerged under water for several days.

On the morning of November 5, the road management unit reopened one lane of traffic at the position of Km 317+150 on Pe Ke Pass, part of the Ho Chi Minh Highway passing through A Luoi 1 Commune, Hue City.

On the morning of November 3, 1,135 households with 3,121 people from 32 communes and wards were relocated to safe areas by the local authorities and functional agencies.

In the mountainous commune of Khe Tre - newly born from the merger of Khe Tre Town and the communes of Huong Phu, Huong Loc, and Thuong Lo - a night concert titled “Ngan Ngo” (A Thousand Reveries) unfolded amid forest breezes, lights, and melodies. Over the past few days, people from villages across Dan Dien Commune have been encouraging one another to visit the floating fish farms along the Bo River to buy fish in support of local farmers. Some families bought a few fish, others only one, but everyone said the same thing: “It’s just our way of sharing a little of their hardship”. That’s all they could do, as the recent floods had wiped out tens of tons of fish raised by families living along the Bo River.

On the morning of October 27, a representative of Loc An Commune People's Committee announced that forces had coordinated with locals to successfully assist a woman in labor to give birth at home.

On October 20, A Dot Border Guard Station, in coordination with the local authority of A Luoi 4 Commune and a collective of philanthropists from Ba Ria Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, organized a program to give 800 gifts to students and people in difficult circumstances in the area.
