The husband-and-wife duo of Distinguished Artisans Ta Dur Tu and Areel Doi, residents of A Luoi District, have dedicated their lives to preserving and promoting the unique cultural values of ethnic minority communities. Over 40 years of tireless collection, research, and teaching have made them guiding lights in safeguarding traditional cultural identities for future generations.

Each Lunar New Year stamp has its own unique charm, but they all share a vibrant, joyful appearance with bright, cheerful colors, conveying wishes for a prosperous and happy new year, good fortune, and warm reunions to everyone.

The works from the contest for composing new lyrics to Hue folk tunes, paintings about Hue culture, and collections of folklore organized by the Department of Education and Training (DoET) have become valuable educational resources for implementing the local cultural education program for preschool children.

“Aside from the theme of Hue's cultural heritage, what impresses and moves me most while creating artistic photographs in this land is its people. Hue's people are simple, rustic, and have their identity,” shared photographer Hoang Quoc Vinh (born in 1986, Gia Lai), who was recently honored with an award for the outstanding artistic work about Hue for his photo collection “ Complex of Hue Monuments”, in an interview with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

The collection of essays and notes, “A Yellow Apricot tree in front of the house: Notes on Hue - The elegant land of moss” (Vietnam Women’s Publishing House), was introduced by its author, Minh Tu, journalist, to book lovers at Hanoi’s Book Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

On holidays, weekends, or whenever they have free time, young people have a habit of searching for new “locations” to enrich their “virtual living” photo collections. Instead of spending time looking for far away places, recently, many young people have turned to check in at dining, entertainment, and shopping destinations right in the city.

Nguyen Van He’s Art Barracks is both a creative space and the daily living space of the artist’s family. It is also the place where artist Nguyen Van He has created numerous artworks using materials he has collected from the remnants of war.

On October 11, representatives of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts’s leaders informed that after their meeting, the Art Collection Appraisal Council of the museum reached a consensus to suggest the Provincial People’s Committee to collect 4 artworks in 2024.

After more than 20 years painstakingly collecting, Mr. Phu has collected more than 30 antique table lamps, from the age of more than 50 years to 100 years; and nearly ten antique ceiling lamps dating from the reign of Emperor Khai Dinh.
