According to the leader of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the project of restoration and embellishment of Kien Trung Palace in the area of the Forbidden City of Hue Imperial Citadel, started in February 2019, is entering the finishing stage of decoration; and expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

After two archaeological excavations of the National Relic of Mount Ban (An Tay Ward, Hue City), experts have discovered a number of vestiges and relics that contribute to confirming that this place is where Nguyen Hue set up Nam Giao Esplanade to sacrifice to “heaven and earth” before ascending the throne.
