Hue City has recently become the starting point for a campaign to strengthen the implementation of a smoke-free environment in restaurants, hotels, and public attractions. This is expected to be an important step to elevate the image of a green, clean, and civilized city in the eyes of both locals and tourists.

On August 16, in Hue City, the Fund for Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control (Ministry of Health) organized a launching ceremony of the campaign to strengthen the implementation of smoke-free environments in restaurants, hotels, and public places.

On August 14, Hue City Police announced that the program in response to the campaign “Moving forward with Vietnam” will be held in Hue City on August 16.

Every summer, blood shortages occur at many medical facilities across the country, including Hue Central Hospital - one of the top-tier hospitals that continuously receives a large number of emergency and treatment cases. To ensure an adequate blood supply for saving lives, the hospital has proactively launched an internal blood donation campaign and called on the community to join hands for the sake of patients’ lives.

On July 12, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a launching ceremony for the 2025 “Green Summer” volunteer campaign with the theme: “Youth take the lead and volunteer for community health”.

On July 5, the Youth Union and the Student Association of Hue University launched and implemented the 2025 “Green Summer” student volunteer campaign.

On July 3rd, Hue Help Organization launched a safe swimming course as part of a child drowning prevention project funded by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK).

On the morning of June 26th, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union Hoang Thi Thuy Linh visited and presented gifts to encourage the volunteer youth teams participating in the 2025 “Tiep suc mua thi” (Exam support campaign) at various 2025 National High School Graduation Exam sites.

On the morning of June 25, Hue City Labor Federation held a conference to review the campaign “Building Close-knit Families, Prosperous, Progressive, Happy, and Civilized Workers in Hue City” and commend outstanding families in the period of 2021 - 2025.

On the morning of June 7, the Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Federation of Hue City launched the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Phu Luong Commune, Phu Vang District. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Hoang Khanh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Public Relations Committee of the City Party Committee.
