On the morning of August 23, the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam” (TVA project), in collaboration with the People's Committees of Thuan An Ward and Phu Vinh Commune, launched 3 waiting lounges and free drinking water dispenser stations at Phu Thuan, Phu Dien, and Vinh Thanh beaches.

From specialized studios to cozy corners within homes, from open spaces by the beach and swimming pools to parks and grassy banks along the Perfume River, yoga has gently yet steadily become a part of daily life in Hue, just like the very essence of this unique practice.

“The beaches in Hue are well-known as some of the most interesting destinations that you shouldn’t miss when visiting the ancient capital. Their beauty can be summed up in three words: “fascinating the soul”.

On the morning of June 23, the Action to Community Development Center (ACDC Institute) in collaboration with the City Department of Health and the Association for Persons with Disabilities - the City Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans, co-organized the 2025 event titled “Run with People with Disabilities: No Distance - No Limits” at Thuan An Beach (Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

At the beginning of summer, on beaches and other spacious tourist spots, it’s easy to witness many groups of visitors join in team building games.

This was the directive from Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, at the launching ceremony for a water safety and drowning prevention program for residents, children, and students in the area. The event took place at Thuan An beach on the morning of May 24.

Following the approval of the project to build a community-based beach tourism model in Hai Duong Commune, now in Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District, by Hue City People's Council (formerly) in July 2023, the infrastructure in this place is gradually being completed, serving the sightseeing and swimming needs of locals and visitors, contributing to enhancing the economic value of the beach and lagoon.

After waiting for nearly 2 hours on the beach of Giang Hai Commune (Phu Loc), Mr. Thuan started to collect the net. Ironically, the net only had a few small fish when he pulled it up. Meanwhile, just a few hundred meters away, Mr. Hai's net was full of fish waiting to be picked.

During the two days of June 8 - 9, impressive and unique paragliding performances took place in the sky above Tam Giang Lagoon and Quang Cong, Quang Ngan beaches (Quang Dien District), creating a sense of novelty and excitement for locals and visitors.

Such is the message of Hue Plogging 2024 event held at Thuan An beach on June 2nd. The event was organized by Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam project, funded by WWF-Norway (through the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam, WWF-Vietnam, and received by the People's Committee of Hue City), in collaboration with Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO). Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, attended the event.

Being around 30km away from Hue City to the southeast, Vinh Thanh beach (Vinh Thanh commune, Phu Vang district), is a beautiful beach and famous for its fresh and cheap seafood.

Phu Dien beach (Phu Vang, Thua Thien Hue), located about 30 kilometers away from the center of Hue city to the southeast, has a wild and gentle beauty.
