On the evening of January 16, Hue University held the 24th Nguyen Truong To Scholarship Award Ceremony for its students for the 2025-2026 academic year.

On the afternoon of January 15, the City’s Sports Training and Competition Center held a review and commendation ceremony honoring coaches and athletes who were awarded prestigious State titles and achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games.

The Heritage Education Materials developed by Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities were recently honored at the City Technical Innovation Contest, providing fresh impetus for bringing cultural heritage closer to younger generations.

On December 6, Hue City People’s Committee held a closing and award ceremony for the 2025 Hue City Innovative Startup Competition.

On the afternoon of August 15, Hue Newspaper and Radio - Television, in coordination with the Saigon General Clinic System, organized a scholarship award program for students who have overcome difficulties in the 2025 - 2026 academic year.

On December 6th, the Provincial Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the Thien Tam Foundation, presented Vingroup scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Launched in April, the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest attracted 16.358 entries from 120 primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools in the provincial area.

On the afternoon of October 9, at Thanh Nien Guest House, Tuoi Tre newspaper coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to organize the "Tiep Suc Den Truong" scholarship awarding ceremony for 91 new students with difficult circumstances from Thua Thien Hue (82 new students) and Quang Ngai (9 new students).

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, said that on the evening of January 26, within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF), there was an award ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awards, taking place in Vientiane, Laos. The three cities representing Vietnam have been awarded (which will be effected from 2024 to 2026) namely: Hue (Thua Thien Hue Province), Vung Tau (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province), and Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh Province).

Over 46,000 entries from more than 130 schools in the province were sent to participate in the preliminary round of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest over a four-year span, from 2019 to 2022.
