On the morning of May 21, the People’s Committee of Chan May - Lang Co Commune held a press conference to announce a series of cultural, tourism, and sports activities taking place within the framework of the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program, and to share information with the press and media agencies.

On the evening of May 1st, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that, on the same day, the city’s heritage site system recorded the highest-ever number of visitors and ticket revenue in a single day. This result further affirms the strong appeal of Hue as a destination in general, and particularly during the April 30th - May 1st holiday.

For many years, the development of waterway tourism has been a consistent goal, as the potential of Hue's rivers remained largely untapped. Following the City People's Committee's announcement of the inland waterway route on the Ngu Ha River, along with the pilot launch of heritage-linked tourism routes using electric boats on the Huong River and its tributaries, the local waterway tourism is expected to be unlocked.
