On May 24, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, organized a “Job Fair” in 2025.

In the framework of the 2025 Open Day Festival, on April 13, the University of Agriculture and Forestry welcomed teachers and 150 students from Nguyen Chi Thanh High school.

For Hue and Hue people the Thanh tra tree has been named for hundreds of years now. Over time, this speciality fruit tree is gradually degenerating and becomes weakened. Dr. La Thi Thu Hang, an expert on agriculture at University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, has succeeded in introducing “high-tech” Thanh tra trees to many gardeners in Hue.

On November 29, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development collaborated with the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association to hold a training program on promoting and enhancing OCOP product trading through e-commerce platforms.

On the morning of October 6, at Quoc hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United States Forest Services held a training session titled “Basis Knowledge on Disaster Prevention and First Aid for Injuries”.

On September 27, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University held the opening ceremony for the 58th course of the academic year of 2024 - 2025.

​On the morning of March 29th, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with Hue’s Fisheries Sub-department, organized the release of 160 thousand endemic fish into the Huong River to restore the aquatic resources of this waterway.

On March 10, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University organized the Open Day program, attracting the participation of more than 700 12th grade students from high schools in Thua Thien Hue province.
