This was among the key outcomes shared at the Conference on Reviewing the Implementation of Resolution 05/2019/NQ-HDND issued by the Provincial People’s Council (now Hue City People’s Council) on policies supporting community-based tourism (CBT) development in Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City) through 2025. The conference, organized by the Department of Tourism on the morning of November 12th, gathered representatives from departments, agencies, and 40 communes and wards across the city.

After more than a month of launching, the preliminary round of 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest received over 19.700 entries from 132 primary, secondary, and high schools across Hue City.

On the morning of November 9, communes and wards across Hue City simultaneously launched environmental cleanup campaigns in connection with the “Green Sunday” movement, aiming to restore urban landscapes and prevent disease outbreaks following prolonged flooding. City leaders visited several locations to inspect, encourage, and present gifts to participating teams.

Immediately following the call of the City People's Committee, on the morning of November 9, a large number of residents, cadres, civil servants, public employees, various associations, unions, armed forces, Youth Union members, and Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company, etc., simultaneously launched an environmental cleanup campaign across all communes and wards in the city.

Over the past few days, people from villages across Dan Dien Commune have been encouraging one another to visit the floating fish farms along the Bo River to buy fish in support of local farmers. Some families bought a few fish, others only one, but everyone said the same thing: “It’s just our way of sharing a little of their hardship”. That’s all they could do, as the recent floods had wiped out tens of tons of fish raised by families living along the Bo River.

On Facebook, amid the flood of news and images of inundation, among the urgent rescue and relief efforts by authorities and functional forces, I came across an image that warmed my heart: hot meals being packed and prepared for their journey from the area of fomer Phu Thuan to Hue Central Hospital, to be given to hungry patients trapped by the floods.

In response to the severe damage caused by prolonged flooding from October 27 to 30, 2025, which deeply inundated many areas and seriously affected the lives of thousands of workers in Hue City, numerous businesses across the area have promptly implemented support measures to help employees stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

On the morning of October 19, Hue Hieu Hoc Education Fund held a scholarship award ceremony for students from Duong No Ward and various high schools across Hue City.

Across the fields of Quang Dien, Hue City, there is a farmer who has quietly sowed the seeds of kindness for nearly three decades. Without fanfare or publicity, Van Sinh, 53, a resident of Tan Xuan Lai Village, has silently donated blood 86 times, bringing hope and life to dozens, perhaps hundreds, of people.

On the afternoon of September 26th, the 10th National Young Architects Festival, themed “Green Journey”, took place in Hue City, drawing more than 1.000 young architects from 44 delegations across the country.
