In the context of the increasingly extensive development of Vietnam-Japan relations, local cooperation has become an important driving force that fosters strong and lasting ties between the two countries. On November 27, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had an official meeting with the Organizing Committee of the “100 Flavors - Michelin-Starred Chefs” program.

On the afternoon of November 21, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, held a courtesy meeting with Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada, Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the conclusion of her tenure in Vietnam.

On November 17, the University of Law, Hue University, in collaboration with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) in Vietnam, organized an international scientific seminar on the topic “Prevention of Family Violence - Experiences from Germany and Vietnam”.

When the theme for World Tourism Day (September 27, 2025) was chosen as “Tourism and sustainable transformation”, many people immediately thought of Hue’s approach to tourism. In its development orientation, Hue tourism consistently focuses on promoting sustainable transformation, especially transitioning to green, sustainable tourism, adapting to climate change.

On the morning of September 29, Hue Central Hospital held the opening ceremony of the 20th Vietnam-Australia Hand Surgery Training Course, designed for surgeons, surgical residents specializing in General Surgery, postgraduate students, as well as doctors and rehabilitation technicians all over the country.

With special scale, character, and significance, the series of activities under “Vietnam - Republic of Korea Cultural Day 2025” held in Hue on September 27 - 28 attracted a great number of locals, domestic and international tourists, as well as international friends.

On the evening of September 27, Hue City People's Committee, in coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam, organized the “Vietnam - Republic of Korea Cultural Day 2025” event at the building located at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street, and the ironwood bridge on the bank of the Huong River.
