On June 11th, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, held a working session with a South Korean delegation. The meeting aimed to promote cooperation in transportation and urban infrastructure projects while exploring the application of the transit-oriented development (TOD) model associated with Vietnam’s North-South High-Speed Railway.

On the morning of May 29, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” (TVA) project/WWF-Viet Nam, organized the event “From Check-in Green Hue to Plastic-Free Tourism - A Journey of Spreading”.

On May 26, the Center for Social Research and Development (CSRD), in collaboration with Oxfam in Vietnam, organized the project launching workshop “Inclusive and Climate-Resilient Water Governance and Livelihoods in Vietnam” (IP3 Project).

On May 23, the city People’s Committee, in collaboration with the World Wide Fund in Vietnam, held a Conference to review the “Hue – Plastic-reduced city in Central Vietnam” Project (TVA Project) for the 2021–2026 period.

On May 15, the Sub-department of Irrigation and Climate Change under the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Vietnam, launched the project “Strengthening climate change resilience and adaptation capacity of urban areas in Central Vietnam”. The project is funded by the CRS (the USA).

On April 22, the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the City Department of Education and Training, organized the award ceremony and closing event for the “Global citizens, leading plastic reduction” contest.

On April 9, Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences organized the Dynamic Female Students Festival at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School. The event was held as part of the Institute’s project on promoting sports development for girls in secondary schools.

On April 7, the Hope Foundation (FPT Group) coordinated with Nippon Paint Vietnam and the Department of Education and Training of Hue City to hold an inauguration ceremony for the “My School Makeover” project at Phu Luong Kindergarten - Dong A Campus (Phu Ho Commune).

On the morning of March 29th, in Thuan Hoa ward, Hue City, Van Phu Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (project developer) and Union Success Vietnam Joint Stock Company (investor) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Vlasta Premier - Phu Hoi Project (technical infrastructure component).

On the morning of March 20, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in collaboration with Hue Institute for Development Studies and the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), organized the “National forum on promoting solutions to reduce plastic packaging through policies and pilot initiatives at the local level”.
