On the morning of January 12th, Hue City Youth and Children Activity Center hosted the Vietnamese and Korean Traditional Tet Experience event under the theme “Spring of Connection - Peaceful Tet.”

By turning a corner spectacularly in a dramatic competition, Le Quang Duy Khoa, a student from Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted excellently brought the 8th live broadcast of Olympia Finals to Hue.

Nurturing a dream from childhood memories, Nguyen Van He has brought his artistic vision to life on Kim Son Hill in the village of Kim Son (Thuy Bang Ward, Thuan Hoa District). Here, his unique creation, a giant airplane model, has captivated visitors with its remarkable presence.

“Reading - experiencing in Hue cultural space” is an interesting activity organized by Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School in collaboration with Hue Book and Culture Club, on the morning of January 11 at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street.

“Can Vuong Tremendous Spirit” was a program held by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, and Ham Nghi Secondary School on January 1 at the exhibition space “Emperor Ham Nghi: Life and Arts” at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities. Attending the program were 130 students from Ham Nghi Secondary School and Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted.

On the evening of January 11th, in Trung Son Commune (A Luoi District), the Border Guard Command of Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, organized the flagship program “Border Spring warms the people’s hearts” in celebration of the At Ty Lunar New Year - 2025.

Hue becoming a centrally-governed municipality not only presents an opportunity for urban transformation, but also contributes to the comprehensive development of its economy and society, ensuring better implementation of the task of preserving and promoting Hue's heritage values ​​and cultural identity. This was one of the highlights shared at a conference summarizing activities in 2024 and deploying tasks in 2025 of Hue City Hotel Association, which took place on the late afternoon of January 10. Attending the conference were leaders of departments, agencies of Hue City, Vietnam Tourism Association, and Hue City Tourism Association.

"I want each of my works not only to be beautiful but also to tell a story about Co Tu people, their life, their beliefs and their traditional values left behind by their ancestors,” said Pham Van Ve, a 26-year-old man with a passion for portraying his ethnic identity through wood carving.

On January 9, the Association for the Promotion of Education of Phu Loc District, in collaboration with Vietkids Association - the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City, organized a gift-giving ceremony for outstanding poor students overcoming difficulties in Phu Loc District.
