The program featured vibrant spring-themed music performances, a traditional cake wrapping contest, folk games, and sports activities that fostered community connection while recreating the rich atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday. These joyous activities brought immense happiness to the local residents.
During the event, financial support was provided to construct four “Great solidarity” houses to replace temporary and dilapidated shelters in the border communes of A Luoi District. Additionally, 10 scholarships (500,000 VND each) were awarded to students under the “Supporting Your Steps to School” program, and to outstanding and disadvantaged students in Trung Son, Hong Van, and Hong Thuy communes. Another 150 Tet gift packages (500,000 VND each) were presented to impoverished, near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances.

“With the care of the Party, the State, and various levels of government, the socio-economic and cultural life in A Luoi District has seen significant development. However, the border areas still face numerous challenges, particularly in economic conditions, infrastructure, and the lives of local residents. Therefore, the ‘Border Spring warms the people’s hearts’ program embodies the spirit of solidarity, concern, and support shared by the Border Guards, local authorities with the people in the border regions. These activities not only aim to improve the material and spiritual lives of the people but also reaffirm the role of the Border Guard in accompanying and supporting the border communities, working together to build a prosperous frontier,” emphasized Colonel Pham Tung Lam, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Hue City’s Border Guard Command.
