“Hue Innovation Day 2025” forum (“Hue innovates for sustainable development”) with the theme “Developing the private economy in the digital economy - Opportunities and directions for Hue” and Hue Startup Fair 2025 are being co-organized by Hue Institute for Development Studies, the Department of Science and Technology, and Hue Monuments Conservation Center over two days, October 9 and 10.

On October 1st, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, held an online ceremony in response to the 2025 National Innovation Day under the theme “Innovation for All - Driving National Development”.

On the afternoon of September 9, Hue City People's Committee, in collaboration with Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, held a review of the science and technology cooperation program for the 2022 - 2025 period, with a vision toward 2030, and signed an agreement on cooperation in science and technology activities between the two sides for the 2025 - 2030 period.

On the afternoon of May 16, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a conference on “Developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation”.

On March 28th, Hue city leaders have met with FPT Group to discuss the collaboration in science and technology development, as well as innovation and digital transformation (DT).

On the afternoon of January 14, the Startup and Innovation Center - Hue University, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology and the Vietnam - Japan Association of Entrepreneurship (E-Future), organized the final round of the “Vietnam Startup Contest 2024” (VSC2024).

To prepare for the upcoming final round of the Provincial Innovation Startup Competition 2024, on September 30, the Department of Science and Technology held a training session for representatives of 15 ideas and projects competing in the final round of this competition.

On September 12th, at the Provincial Center for Culture and Art, the Department of Science and Technology (S&T) inaugurated an exhibition showcasing technological devices, science and technology products, innovations, and creative startup (CS) products, as well as key products from the North Central and Central Coastal regions.

The Provincial Union of Scientific and Technical Associations, representing the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest organizing committe, has just released information on Thua Thien Hue’s participation and achievements at the 17th National Technical Innovation Competition (2022-2023) and the Science and Technology Innovation Awards of Vietnam in 2023.

On the afternoon of November 8th, the Department of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Department of Tourism, organized the forum themed “Promoting investment activities and open innovation in the province’s tourism industry”.
