For the first time, the High School Graduation Exam is being conducted under two general education curricula: the 2006 and 2018 curricula, posing significant challenges in organization and operation. As of June 24, all preparations in Hue City have been completed, ready for a serious, fair, and regulation-compliant exam.

In the second phase of the 2025 Aptitude Test organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Mai Quang Minh Tri, a grade 12th student specialized in mathematics at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, earned the highest score with 1.122 points.

Ensuring that nothing will affect the organization and quality of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam is the directive emphasized by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the national conference on the organization of the 2025 exam held on the afternoon of June 18th.

On the evening of June 12th, the Department of Education and Training announced the admission cut-off scores for Grade 6 at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School for the 2025-2026 academic year.

On the afternoon of June 10, the Ministry of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National High School Sports Tournament at Hue Stadium. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, attended the event.

This was the theme of the seminar held by the Department of Education and Training in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports on the afternoon of June 10 at Quoc Học - Hue High school for the Gifted. The event was held to respond to the Community Ao dai Week in Hue in 2025.

After winning a Silver Medal at 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad held in Saudi Arabia, Tran Le Thien Nhan (a 12th-grade student from the Physics Class 2 for gifted students) was once again selected by the Ministry of Education and Training as a member of the national team to participate in 2025 International Physics Olympiad.

On the morning of May 27th, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh held a working session with APU Educational Development Group, led by Group Chairwoman Ms. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh.

On the morning of May 27, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted held a ceremony to summarize and award for the academic year 2024 - 2025. On this occasion, 9 groups and 313 students, who achieved excellent academic results, were honored.
