On the morning of December 23, the groundbreaking ceremony of the project of Nguyen Hoang Street and the bridge over the Huong River was held in Kim Long Ward, Hue City.

In the cozy space of the house with ancient architecture on the banks of the Huong River, Cung Tien music lovers had immersed themselves in a romantic, melancholy atmosphere, letting their souls be carried away in the love songs which have a special place in people's hearts.

The ancient ruong houses, river wharfs from afar, the ancient gold apple tree (Diospyros decandra) and the flaming pottery kiln of Phuoc Tich ancient village became shimmering and poetic when being painted. From real-life objects to becoming a painting, these scenes contained a lot of painters’ emotions and vibration about a so-called rare ancient village of Vietnam.

On November 14, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong made a field trip to inspect the implementation of the project of embellishing the banks of the Huong River in combination with the wharf located along Bui Thi Xuan Park, and the project of Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City). Accompanying him was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh.

The exhibition "Ancient ao dai of the Nguyen Dynasty", in a collection of Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan, was opened on the morning of November 6 in Lan Vien Co Tich space - Huong River Museum of Antique Pottery (at 120 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Street, Hue City).

Located downstream of the Perfume River, Ru Cha is a rare primeval mangrove forest that exists in Tam Giang lagoon. The forest belongs to Thuan Hoa village (Huong Phong commune), about 15km from the center of Hue city. The scenery here is like a picture of pristine, fresh and gentle nature, attracting all eyes.

The fact that emperor Thieu Tri composed the poem “Song Huong” (“Perfume River”) describing his morning on the river proves that the king cruised on a royal ship. Though he wrote “boat,” it was actually a luxurious ship. So what was the royal cruising ship like?

No one knows of the ancient origin of this sweet fruit which was predestined to call Hue, the ancient capital, its home. But clearly, thanh tra pomelo has been existing here, in the spirit of the earth and the people, of the rivers and mountains, as a wonder of a gift bestowed from mother nature.
