This was the theme of the 2026 Expanded Scientific and Technical Conference organized by University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Hue University on June 20.

From June 12 to 19, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital collaborated with Surgical Volunteers International (SVI) of the United States to carry out a humanitarian surgery program for children and adolescents suffering from congenital deformities, as well as burn and trauma-related disabilities.

On June 4, the Minister of Education and Training issued a decision appointing Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, as Acting President of Hue University.

On May 30, the 2026 Imperial City Scientific Conference on infectious diseases was held at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. The event attracted nearly 250 delegates and almost 20 leading experts in infectious diseases, microbiology, and tropical diseases from across Vietnam.

The information was announced at the “Standardizing Quality and Enhancing Capacity in Primary Care and Family Medicine Practice” international conference, organized by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University over two days, May 19th and 20th.

At the final round of the 8th Students with Startup Ideas competition (SV-STARTUP 2026), held from April 17th to 19th in Hanoi, the “An Vi Porridge” project by a student team from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, won Third Prize.

On March 23rd, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University organized a career orientation program for students graduating in 2026 in an in-person format, attracting a large number of final-year students from various disciplines.

From March 24 to 26, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in collaboration with the Arpan Global (the USA), organizes a community health screening and consultation program at the university campus, the university hospital, and the City Social Work Center and Children’s Protection Fund.
