Wanting to personally prepare meticulous Tet gifts, while “subtly showing off” their dexterity, many young people are making their own candied fruits and sweet treats for their families, for relatives and friends, or for small-scale sales.

On the afternoon of February 4th, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung inspected the progress of investment and construction of boarding inter-level schools (primary and lower secondary) in the communes of A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4, as well as visited and extended Lunar New Year greetings to families of meritorious persons and exemplary relatives of fallen contributors in the communes of A Luoi.

In 2025, Hue City Library served more than 1.2 million readers both in person and online. The library also issued over 5,700 library cards to readers.

Quiet workshop sessions have become a popular destination for many young people during the New Year holiday. On the morning of November 6th, at the Forward Command Headquarters located at the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee, chaired a hybrid (in-person and online) meeting to urgently implement measures to respond to Storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) with the provinces and cities of Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa.

Mr. Van Dinh Huy, who was born in 1983, is currently working at Phu Bai Ward Police office. Even younger than Dinh Huy, Mr. Do Minh Dien, who was born in 1990, is currently an officer in the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City. What they have in common is a strong passion for books, and up to now, each of them has built his own personal book collection. They are truly the “young gentlemen” who collect books in Hue.

On October 21 in Hue City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE) organized a workshop titled “Guidelines and Implementation Roadmap for the ASEAN Eco-School Criteria – Towards Plastic-Free Schools” as part of the ASEAN Eco-School Awards Vietnam 2025. The event attracted over 100 in-person delegates and more than 1,000 virtual participants.
