Over 46,000 entries from more than 130 schools in the province were sent to participate in the preliminary round of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest over a four-year span, from 2019 to 2022.

On the morning of October 8th, the broadcast of the final round of the Road to Mount Olympia 2023 competition took place enthusiastically at the entrance of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted. It is the Construction Project of the Bridge over Tam Giang Lagoon, which connects Phu Da Town to Vinh Xuan Commune, with an estimated total investment of more than 1,000 billion VND. Construction is expected to begin in 2024 and to be completed within 4 years.

Responding to the World Environment Day (June 5) with the theme “Solution for Plastic Waste”, the International Day of Biodiversity and the Month of Action for the Environment 2023, on the morning of June 4, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with the People’s Committee of Phu Loc district, Thach Son Fisheries Association (Loc Dien, Phu Loc), etc., to release 80.000 fingerlings of tiger prawns and over 14.000 rabbitfishes into the Da Dam and Da Mieu fisheries conservation areas belonging to Tam Giang – Cau Hai Lagoon.

As part of a chain of activities to respond to Humanitarian Month 2023, on May 21, Hue City Red Cross Society awarded scholarships of the second quarter to 18 students overcoming difficult circumstances in their studies.
