Hue wins 5 Gold medals at Asian Shuttlecock Championships

HNN.VN - The 2025 Asian Shuttlecock Championship and Asian Youth Shuttlecock Championship, held in Hong Kong (China) with the participance of 11 countries and territories, ended on the afternoon of June 28th. The Vietnamese national shuttlecock team claimed the overall championship title.

The Vietnamese Team secured first place overall with 12 gold and 6 silver medals, with Hue’s shuttlecock athletes contributing significantly - bringing home 5 gold and 4 silver medals.

Hue’s medallists included: Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh: 1 gold (women’s doubles), 1 silver (women’s trio); Le Van Dong: 1 gold (men’s trio), 1 silver (men’s four-player team); Dinh Huu Anh Nguyet: 1 gold (women’s four-player team), 1 silver (women’s trio).

In the youth category, Pham Khanh Hoang claimed all of Hue’s medals: 2 golds (men’s trio and men’s four-player team) and 1 silver (men’s doubles).

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hien – the coach of Hue team, this result exceeded expectations and demonstrates both the strength and potential of the Ancient Capital’s core and youth shuttlecock athletes.
